Fussy Cleaners has once again professionally cleaned and stored the dresses for Cinderella’s Closet!
We’re excited to declare that for the second year in a row, Cinderella’s Closet will be coming back to Revere High School! Cinderella’s Closet is an event where area students can pick from all types of donated items and services that will make their prom night special. The event will take place Saturday, March 10th, in the Revere High School cafeteria from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
There will be nearly 500 donated dresses to choose from. We have cleaned each one so they are ready to wear. There will also be plenty of other formal wear, shoes, & jewelry. Dress cleaning and preservation is just one of the many services we offer!
Gift certificates for tux rental, hair & makeup services have also been donated.
Every student deserves to have a magical prom night, so this event is open to all area students, not just those who attend Revere.
We are honored to be a part of this wonderful event & are excited to help make prom a success for all students!
“We want to make it easy and not have any roadblocks to someone enjoying prom themselves and so if that resistance or that roadblock is affording a dress or affording a purse or shoes whatever we can do to help make that happen, so they have a clean dress; they are proud of what they are wearing and have a great time,” said Jason Long, owner of Fussy Cleaners who has professionally cleaned and stored the dresses.
Each year, we honor an exemplary employee with the Family Member Of The Year Award. This award is given to an employee that truly represents our mission statement: “To care for our customers, communities, and each other like family”.
The recipient of the 2017 Family Member Of The Year Award is our Sales Manager, Jim Goforth. Whether purchasing two new shirts and hand-delivering them on a Saturday to a customer who is in a bind, or just simply making his co-workers laugh with his endless supply of jokes, he is so deserving of this award.
Jim started at Fussy as a Route Sales Representative, and after a few years, worked his way up to manage the department. Both as a Sales Rep and Sales Manager, he has helped grow our route service tremendously. And, above all, he always puts our customers first.
As you may remember, the 2017 “Coats For Kids” Coat Drive recently ended & we couldn’t be happier with the results!
Earlier this week, we made our first donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Western Reserve. Thanks to YOU, we were able to gift them 385 coats. Here are some photos of the afternoon fun.
We will be making the donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland within the coming weeks.
Our Coats For Kids competition has come to an end with one school coming out victorious!
Coming in with 626 total coats Brecksville Broadview Heights City Schools is our winner and will receive the $1,000 prize!
Coming in at second place is Hudson High School with 153 total coats. They will receive the $500 prize!
That’s a total of 779 Coats donated! (This equals over $10,000 in FREE dry cleaning!) Thank you to everyone who helped and donated coats this year. With everyone coming together out of the kindness of your hearts, we will be making this winter a little warmer for local children in need. All donations will be presented to The Boys & Girls Club of Western Reserve and The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland soon.
It’s almost that time of year again- get ready for the 3rd annual “Coats for Kids” coat drive!
This year, we wanted to keep things interesting & stir up some friendly competition within the community. So, Hudson High School & Brecksville-Broadview Heights Local Schools will be competing against each other to see which school can bring in the most new or gently used coats.
The contest will run from 10/16 through 11/17. All donations benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland and the Boys & Girls Club of Western Reserve. Each Friday, a Fussy representative will collect that week’s donated coats. We’ll clean all of the coats & once the contest is complete, we will make the donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Make sure to keep an eye on our social media throughout the contest- each week, we’ll be updating you as to how many coats we’ve received & which school district is in the lead.
Donate to help spread warmth throughout Northeast Ohio this winter. We’re excited to see what this year’s drive brings! Good luck to both schools!
We are looking for quality individuals to join our team & work as a Customer Service Representative in our stores. We are currently seeking both part-time & full-time help.

This year, we are starting a new social media campaign called “#ImFussy”

We were featured on Fox 8 News Wednesday night due to our partnership with Revere Schools for their Cinderella’s Closet event, being held this Saturday.
Our goal was to collect 200 gently used dresses to donate to less fortunate students in the area. We are thrilled to report we collected over 500! We also received a large number of shoes & accessories.
Cinderella’s Closet will be held this Saturday, 3/18, at Revere High School from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

With the coat drive we held earlier this winter, our goal was to “fill a Fussy van” with all of the donated coats. The drive was a huge success! We were able to donate 450 coats to The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland and The Boys & Girls Club of Western Reserve! A big “thank you” goes out to all of our customers that participated!
